Time 1h10m

Number Of Ingredients 9

3/4 c butter
1 can(s) rotel tomatoes
1 can(s) campbells' frend onion soup
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 medium bell pepper
1 medium chopped onion
2 lb raw shrimp, peeled
2 c raw rice
2 Tbsp salt and pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter and place in a baking dish. Add your ingredients and mix well. Make sure your mixture is soupy.
  • 2. Bake 1 hour covered. After 30 minutes, stir and return to oven.
  • 3. After one hour check to make sure your rice is done. If it is, remove the pan. If it it isn't quite soft enough and you don't have any more moisture in the pan simply add a half cup of broth or water and return to the over for another 20 minutes.

I made this recipe with brown rice instead of white rice. It was a healthier option and it was still very good.

This recipe is a bit spicy for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. I will definitely be making it again, but I will use less cayenne pepper.
