Number Of Ingredients 6

2 apples, cored and cut into bite sized chunks
1 1/2 cups cashew milk
1 1/2 cups water
4 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 tablespoon flax seed

Steps:

  • Coat slow cooker with non-stick spray (I use coconut oil).
  • Add all ingredients to slow cooker.
  • Stir.
  • Cook on LOW for 7 hours.
  • Add garnish of your choice (ex. hemp hearts, nuts, berries, raisins, coconut, etc.).
  • Freezes well.

These oats were a bit bland for my taste. I think next time I'll add some brown sugar or honey to sweeten them up. Otherwise, they were easy to make and had a good texture.
