Number Of Ingredients 5

10 small apples
4 cups sugar
1 cup water
1/3 cup sugar syrup
1 teaspoon red food coloring

I'm not a big fan of toffee, but I thought these apples were pretty good. The caramel was nice and smooth, and the apples were nice and crisp.

I've tried many toffee apple recipes over the years, but this one is by far the best. The caramel is so smooth and creamy, and it coats the apples perfectly. I also love that this recipe doesn't require any special equipment.
