- Fry the salt pork until browned.
- Add the onions, celery, potatoes, chicken stock, and water.
- Simmer until potatoes are fork tender.
- Add the corn and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the milk and butter.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
