Zesty Salmon Croquettes image

These salmon patties have a lot more flavor to them than the usual bland salmon cakes or salmon croquettes.

1 (14.75 ounce) can salmon - drained, deboned, and flaked
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup bread crumbs
½ cup minced onion
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
¼ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
oil for frying

Steps:

  • Combine salmon, flour, bread crumbs, onion, egg, seafood seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper and mix very well. Shape mixture into 6 even-sized patties.
  • Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-low heat. Cook patties until nicely browned, about 5 minutes per side.
