I'm not a fan of apple turnovers, but I tried this recipe anyway and I was pleasantly surprised. The pastry was flaky and the filling was sweet and cinnamony. I would definitely make them again!

These apple turnovers were just okay. They weren't as flaky as I would have liked and the filling was a bit bland. I wouldn't make them again.

These apple turnovers were so easy to make and they tasted amazing! I used Granny Smith apples and they were the perfect tartness to balance out the sweetness of the filling. I will definitely be making these again!
