My own creation for a summer salad. We eat this with garlic bread and a bowl of chicken noodle soup for dinner in the hot weather.

Yield 6-8 salads, 6-8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup lime juice
1/4 teaspoon liquid hot pepper sauce (we use louisiana red hot)
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion, minced
2 medium avocados
2 cups pineapple chunks, drained
2 medium tomatoes, cut in thin wedges

Steps:

  • Make lime dressing: In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine all dressing ingredients; shake well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. To make salad: Peel avocados; remove pits; cut into cubes. In medium bowl, combine avocado cubes and pineapple chunks. Pour dressing over all. Refrigerate 1 hour. To serve: Arrange avocado and pineapple on 6-8 individual serving plates. Circle each serving with tomato wedges. Cook time is refrigerating time.

I was disappointed with this salad. The avocado was not ripe and the pineapple was too sour. I ended up throwing most of it away.

This salad was a bit bland for my taste. I think it needed more seasoning. I added some salt, pepper, and garlic powder and it was much better.

This salad is delicious! The flavors of the avocado, pineapple, and tomato go so well together. I also love the addition of red onion and cilantro. It's a great salad to serve at a party or potluck.

This is a refreshing and healthy salad that's perfect for summer. I love the pop of color from the avocado, pineapple, and tomato. I also appreciate that it's a no-cook recipe, so it's quick and easy to make.

I've made this salad several times and it's always a hit. It's a great way to use up ripe avocados and tomatoes. I like to add a bit of honey or agave nectar to the dressing to make it a little sweeter.

This salad is so easy to make and it's always a crowd-pleaser. I love the combination of sweet and savory flavors. I often add black beans or corn to the salad for extra protein and texture.

I followed the recipe exactly and the salad turned out great! The dressing was flavorful and the avocado, pineapple, and tomato were all ripe and juicy. I served it with grilled chicken and it was a hit with my family.

This salad is a delightful blend of flavors and textures. The creamy avocado, juicy pineapple, and tangy tomato are a perfect combination. I especially enjoyed the addition of red onion and cilantro, which added a nice bite and freshness to the dish.
