Baked Beefy Onion Soup image

This is the only onion soup recipe I know of that is baked in a casserole, making it easy to serve to a crowd as a fist course. I love this recipe for dinner parties because it can be made ahead. This rich soup can also be a meal in itself.

I'm not a huge fan of onion soup, but this recipe was actually really good! The beef broth was rich and flavorful, and the onions were caramelized perfectly.

This soup was a bit too thick for my taste. I would recommend adding more broth next time.

The soup was good, but it was not as flavorful as I had hoped. I think I will try adding more spices next time.

This soup was a bit too salty for my taste, but overall it was still good. I would recommend using less salt next time.
