AIR FRYER APPLE CRUMBLE

Air Fryer Apple Crumble image

An easy recipe with a delicious golden brown crumble. The best part is you don't have to heat up the kitchen or tie up your oven because this crumble is air fried instead of baked. We love this served warm with a scoop of ice cream.

AIR FRYER APPLE CRISP

Air Fryer Apple Crisp image

Nothing screams fall like warm apple crisp! You can use any variety of apples that you like, but I prefer a mixture of tart (Granny Smith or MacIntosh) and sweet (Honeycrisp or Fuji). Using your air fryer is perfect for a small portion! Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.

Tips:

  • Choose the right apples: Use firm, tart apples such as Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Pink Lady. These apples hold their shape well and won't become mushy when cooked.
  • Slice the apples evenly: This will help them cook evenly. If the slices are too thick, they will take longer to cook and may not get crispy. If the slices are too thin, they will cook too quickly and may become mushy.
  • Coat the apples in a little oil: This will help them crisp up and prevent them from sticking to the air fryer basket.
  • Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket: If you overcrowd the basket, the apples will not cook evenly. Leave some space between the apple slices so that the air can circulate around them.
  • Cook the apples in batches if necessary: If you have a lot of apples to cook, you may need to cook them in batches. Be sure to adjust the cooking time accordingly.
  • Serve the apples immediately: Air fryer apples are best served hot and crispy. They can be served on their own, or with a variety of toppings such as cinnamon sugar, maple syrup, or whipped cream.

Conclusion:

Air fryer apples are a delicious and healthy snack or side dish. They are easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With a little experimenting, you can find the perfect combination of spices and toppings to create your own signature air fryer apple recipe.
