OATMEAL BANANA CHUNK BARS WITH CARAMEL ICING
I made up this recipe a few months ago based on a couple other tried and true recipes. The bars are dense and chewy, like a good blondie. The caramel frosting isn't like gooey caramel, but rather it is like pralines.

Tips:
- Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your bars will be.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing will make the bars tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Be patient: The bars need to cool completely before they are cut into squares. This will help them hold their shape.
- Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature: The bars will keep for up to 3 days.
Conclusion:
These banana oatmeal bars are a delicious and healthy snack or breakfast option. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With their combination of oats, bananas, chocolate, and nuts, these bars are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
