1/2 cup (divided) blue cheese, crumbled
1/3 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 pears, peeled, cored and sliced
1/4 cup toasted walnut pieces

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Place the pizza crust on a pizza pan. Bake in the preheated oven until just crisp, about 5 minutes.

Tips:

  • Choose a ripe pear for the best flavor and texture. Look for one that is firm but slightly yielding to the touch.
  • If you are using a pre-made pizza dough, let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before using. This will make it easier to work with.
  • To make the blue cheese dressing, simply whisk together the blue cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and milk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • When assembling the pizza, be sure to spread the blue cheese dressing evenly over the dough. Then, top with the pear slices, walnuts, and crumbled bacon.
  • Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the cheese to set and the toppings to stay in place.

Blue cheese, walnut, and pear pizza is a delicious and unique combination of flavors that is sure to please everyone at your next party or gathering. The sweet pears and salty blue cheese complement each other perfectly, while the walnuts add a crunchy texture. This pizza is also relatively easy to make, so it's perfect for a weeknight meal.
