3/4 cup gently packed light brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

2 large egg whites
1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-by-8-inch pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together the butter and sugar on high speed until light and fluffy, about five to seven minutes.
