1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
1/2 cup applesauce
1 large egg
1 cup raisins or dried cranberries

Steps:

  • 1. Oven to 350. Spray cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray. 2. In large bowl beat cake mix, oil, applesauce, and egg on medium speed for 1 to 2 minutes, until well blended. 3. Stir in raisins or dried cranberries. 4. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheets, about 2 inches apart. 5. Bake for 9 to 12 minutes or until the center is just barely set when lightly touched with your fingertip and the edges are firm. 6. Remove from the oven, allow to cool one minute then transfer to wire racks.

1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 cup chopped apple
1/3 cup Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy cream cheese frosting

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, stir together cake mix, oil and eggs until combined and dough forms. Stir in chopped apple.
  • Onto ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Remove cookies from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  • In small microwavable bowl, microwave frosting on High 10 seconds. Drizzle melted frosting over cooled cookies.

1-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 large egg
3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 cup finely chopped peeled apple

  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, oats, brown sugar and cinnamon. In a small bowl, combine the egg, applesauce, apple and raisins. 1 1/2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
3 tablespoons milk

Steps:

  • In 1-quart saucepan, heat applesauce to boiling over medium-high heat. Stir in oats. Let stand 20 minutes.
  • Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom and sides of 9-inch square pan with shortening. In large bowl, beat 1/2 cup butter and granulated sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and eggs until fluffy. Beat in applesauce mixture just until mixed.
