2 cups Basic Cookie Dough
36 chocolate stars or chocolate kisses
36 candied cherry halves

Steps:

  • Drop cookie dough by teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Top each with a chocolate star and wrap dough around it. Top each with a candied cherry half. Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.

2 cups oatmeal
1 cup unsalted butter (softened or melted)
2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
2 cans cherry pie filling
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts, but any kind of nuts will do)

Steps:

  • Mix oatmeal, flour, brown sugar and coconut together.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Add melted butter and mix until very well combined.
  • (It is almost easier to mix this with your hands!)
  • Take ¾ of the mixture and put it on the bottom of a greased 9x13" baking dish.
  • Press mixture firmly into pan.
  • Pour pie filling over mixture.
  • Sprinkle nuts over top.
  • Crumble remaining oatmeal mixture over top of nuts.
  • Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes until lightly browned and bubbly.

1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups whipped dream whipped topping (1 envelope)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (28 ounce) can cherry pie filling

Steps:

  • Prepare a 9 x 9" baking pan.
  • In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter and 1 tbsp sugar; spread on bottom of prepared baking pan to form a crust.

36 maraschino cherries, drained and juice reserved
½ cup slivered almonds
1 (8 ounce) package shredded coconut
3 drops green food coloring
3 drops red food coloring
1 cup butter, softened
½ cup confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ cup quick cooking oats
¼ teaspoon salt
1 (16 ounce) package confectioners' sugar

Steps:
