CHRISTMAS MORNING WIFE SAVER (BREAKFAST CASSEROLE)
I certainly cannot take credit for this recipe but it is a Christmas classic. There are lots of little things to personalize this recipe. I have suggested using red and green bell peppers because they are Christmas colors! I also use grated cheese and spread it over the Canadian bacon instead of cheese slices. I have used regular bacon in this recipe, but I find that it overpowers the rest of the flavors. Make this tasty breakfast dish the night before and just pop it in the oven on Christmas morning; let it cook while you open gifts and sip your rum-spiked coffee!

Tips:
- Plan Ahead: Decide on your Christmas morning menu in advance and make a shopping list accordingly. This will save time and prevent last-minute stress.
- Prep Ingredients: As much as possible, prep ingredients the night before or early in the morning. This will streamline the cooking process and ensure that everything is ready when you need it.
- Use Simple Recipes: Choose recipes that are easy to follow and don't require a lot of complicated techniques or fancy ingredients. This will make the cooking process more enjoyable and less stressful.
- Cook in Batches: If you're serving a large group, consider cooking dishes in batches. This will help you manage your time and ensure that everything is cooked properly.
- Keep Dishes Warm: Use a warming drawer, slow cooker, or covered dish to keep dishes warm until they're ready to serve. This will prevent them from getting cold and becoming unappetizing.
- Garnish and Serve: Add a festive touch to your dishes by garnishing them with fresh herbs, berries, or a sprinkle of powdered sugar. This will make them look more appealing and inviting.
Conclusion:
With a little planning and preparation, you can create a delicious and memorable Christmas morning breakfast that your family and friends will love. Remember to keep things simple, focus on enjoying the moment, and savor the flavors of the season. Merry Christmas!
