Steps:
- 1. Place Boston butt in crockpot. Add Moore's and Lea & perrins. Cook on low for 8 hours in crockpot.
Tips:
- Choose a good quality Boston butt roast. Look for one that is well-marbled and has a good amount of fat.
- Trim any excess fat from the roast. This will help to prevent the meat from becoming greasy.
- Season the roast with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices. You can also add a rub or marinade to the meat for extra flavor.
- Sear the roast in a hot skillet before placing it in the slow cooker. This will help to brown the meat and add flavor.
- Add some liquid to the slow cooker. This can be water, broth, or even beer. The liquid will help to keep the meat moist and prevent it from drying out.
- Cook the roast on low for 8-10 hours, or until it is fall-apart tender.
- Once the roast is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before shredding.
Conclusion:
Cooking Boston butt in a slow cooker is a great way to get a tender, flavorful meal with minimal effort. With a little planning, you can have a delicious meal on the table with very little fuss.
