2 cups spinach
1 -2 medium cucumber (approx 2 cups)
1 stalk celery
1/2 inch gingerroot (or 1 teaspoon)
1 bunch chopped parsley (approx 1/2 cup chopped)
2 apples, cored
1 lime, juice of
1/2 lemon, juice of
4 ounces mineral water (or a handful of ice cubes)
raw carrot
unsweetened fruit juice
banana

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
  • This recipe makes 28 to 30 ounces or about three to four servings. This will be very thick and you may need to add water - If you have a juicer this may work better.

DR. OZ GREEN SMOOTHIE

Dr. Oz Green Smoothie image

I LOVE this recipe!!!!!! I initially thought this would be vile.. honestly it's green and well who would think kale could be masked in a smoothie... but it's GREAT!!. It may not be for everyone but it's a great way to get in nutrients especially on a low calorie diet or VLCD. It comes out a bright green and no juicer is required just a blender. This recipe was featured in Woman's World magazine. I usually use 1 tbs Chia seed powder and Mandarine oranges and 1 cup Kale

Tips:

  • Use organic ingredients whenever possible. This will help to ensure that your green drink is packed with nutrients and free of pesticides and other harmful chemicals.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different ingredients. There are many different fruits, vegetables, and herbs that can be used to make a green drink, so feel free to mix and match until you find a combination that you enjoy.
  • Start with a small amount of green drink and gradually increase the amount as you get used to the taste. This will help to prevent any stomach upset.
  • Drink your green drink fresh. Green drinks are best consumed within a few hours of being made, as the nutrients degrade over time.
  • If you don't have time to make a green drink, you can purchase a pre-made green drink powder or juice. However, be sure to read the label carefully to make sure that the product does not contain any added sugar or other unhealthy ingredients.

Conclusion:

Green drinks are a great way to get your daily dose of fruits, vegetables, and nutrients. They are also a good source of antioxidants, which can help to protect your cells from damage. If you are looking for a healthy and refreshing way to improve your overall health, then green drinks are a great option.
