1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips
2 cups dry roasted peanuts
1 (14 ounce) can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
2 teaspoons butter

  • marshmallows. Mix together. Pour in buttered pan.
  • Chill 2 hours and cut.

Tips:

  • To achieve the right consistency for the caramel, cook it until it reaches a temperature of 240°F (hard-ball stage). This will ensure that the caramel is thick and gooey, but not too hard.
  • Be cautious when working with hot sugar. Always use a heatproof spatula or spoon, and wear oven mitts to protect your hands.
  • If you don't have a candy thermometer, you can test the caramel by dropping a small amount into a bowl of cold water. If the caramel forms a hard ball, it is ready.
  • To prevent the chocolate from seizing, add it to the hot caramel in small increments, stirring constantly until it is completely melted and smooth.
  • To ensure that the Goo Goo Clusters set properly, refrigerate them for at least 2 hours before enjoying.
