ICED ALMONDS
Steps:
- In a heavy saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add almonds and sugar. Cook and stir constantly for 7-8 minutes or until syrup is golden brown. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. , Immediately drop by clusters or separate almonds on a greased pan. Cool. Store in an airtight container.

- 1. In a heavy skillet,combine 1st 3 ingredients. Heat and stir over medium heat,until almonds are toasted and the sugar is a golden brown syrup.(about 15 min.)Stir in vanilla.
- 2. Spread almonds on foil; sprinkle with salt. Cool. Break into 2-3 nut clusters.
- 3. Store in a airtight container in a cool dry place.
