Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of beef. Chuck roast or flank steak are good options, as they are both flavorful and relatively inexpensive. If you are using a tougher cut of beef, braising it for a longer period of time will help to tenderize it.
  • Brown the beef before adding it to the sauce. This will help to develop the flavor and prevent the beef from becoming tough.
  • Use a flavorful sauce. A simple tomato sauce made with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and basil is a good option. You can also use a more complex sauce, such as a Bolognese sauce.
  • Cook the pasta al dente. This means that it should be cooked until it is just tender, but still has a slight bite to it.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs. Fresh basil, parsley, or oregano are all good options.

Lori's Beef and Spaghetti Macaroni is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal.
