Tips:

  • Use fresh or frozen raspberries: Fresh raspberries are ideal for this recipe, but frozen raspberries can also be used. If using frozen raspberries, thaw them before using.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the bars tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the bars until they are just set in the center: The bars will continue to cook as they cool. If you bake them until they are completely set, they will be dry.
  • Let the bars cool completely before cutting them: This will help to prevent them from falling apart.

Conclusion:

Oatmeal raspberry bars are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. They are also a great way to use up leftover oatmeal. These bars are made with a combination of oats, flour, butter, sugar, eggs, and raspberries. They are then baked until they are golden brown and set in the center. Oatmeal raspberry bars can be served with a variety of toppings, such as whipped cream, ice cream, or fresh berries.
