Tips:

  • Use a food processor to chop the dates. This will make it easier to get a smooth, even texture.
  • If you don't have a food processor, you can chop the dates by hand. Just be sure to chop them very finely, so that they will blend well with the other ingredients.
  • Be sure to pack the date mixture firmly into the baking pan. This will help to prevent the squares from crumbling.
  • Don't overbake the squares. They should be just set in the center, so that they are still a little bit gooey.
  • Let the squares cool completely before cutting them. This will help to prevent them from falling apart.
  • Store the squares in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the squares for up to 2 months.

Conclusion:

These old-fashioned diabetic date squares are a delicious and healthy treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are easy to make and can be tailored to your own dietary needs. Whether you are looking for a gluten-free, sugar-free, or low-carb snack, these date squares are a great option.
