Number Of Ingredients 4

1 can (15 ounce) peach halves, drained
1/4 cup (packed) brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup pecans, coarsely chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat the broiler.
  • Arrange peach halves, cut-side up in a shallow baking dish. In a small dish, stir together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans. Sprinkle the mixture over the peaches.
  • Broil 3 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the topping is browned.
  • Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Tips:

  • Use ripe, flavorful peaches. This will ensure that your brulee has the best possible flavor. You can also use frozen peaches, but be sure to thaw them completely before using.
  • Don't overcook the peaches. They should be soft, but still hold their shape. If you overcook them, they will become mushy and lose their flavor.
  • Use a good quality vanilla extract. This will also help to enhance the flavor of your brulee. If you don't have vanilla extract, you can use vanilla bean paste or vanilla powder.
  • Be careful not to overcook the sugar when you are making the caramel. If you do, it will become bitter. The sugar should be a light amber color.
  • Let the brulee cool completely before serving. This will help to prevent the caramel from cracking.

Conclusion:

Peach brulee is a delicious and elegant dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With a few simple tips, you can make the perfect peach brulee that will impress your friends and family.
