Tips:

  • To make sure your Raspberry Almond Crisp has the perfect texture, use a combination of old-fashioned rolled oats and all-purpose flour for the topping. The oats will provide a crispy texture, while the flour will help to bind the topping together.
  • Don't overmix the topping. Overmixing will result in a tough, dense topping. Simply mix the ingredients until they are combined and crumbly.
  • Use fresh or frozen raspberries for the best flavor. If using frozen raspberries, be sure to thaw them before using.
  • For a sweeter crisp, add an extra 1/4 cup of sugar to the filling. You can also use a combination of white and brown sugar for a more complex flavor.
  • If you don't have almond extract, you can substitute vanilla extract. However, almond extract will give the crisp a more pronounced almond flavor.
  • Serve the Raspberry Almond Crisp warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Conclusion:

With its sweet and tangy filling, crunchy oat topping, and nutty almond flavor, this Raspberry Almond Crisp is the perfect dessert for any occasion. Whether you're serving it for a special occasion or just enjoying it as a weeknight treat, this crisp is sure to be a hit. So next time you're looking for a delicious and easy-to-make dessert, give this Raspberry Almond Crisp a try.
