Tips:
- Choose the right potatoes. Yukon Gold or red potatoes are the best choices for breakfast potatoes, as they hold their shape well and have a slightly waxy texture that makes them less likely to stick to the pan.
- Cut the potatoes into uniform pieces. This will help them cook evenly. If you are using a variety of potatoes, cut them into similar-sized pieces so that they cook at the same rate.
- Toss the potatoes with oil and seasonings before roasting. This will help them brown and develop flavor. You can use any type of oil you like, but olive oil or avocado oil are good choices.
- Roast the potatoes at a high temperature. This will help them get crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Aim for a temperature of 425 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.
- Stir the potatoes occasionally during roasting. This will help them cook evenly. You can also flip them over halfway through cooking for even browning.
- Season the potatoes to taste. Once they are cooked, season them with salt, pepper, and any other herbs or spices you like. You can also add cheese, bacon, or other toppings at this point.
Conclusion:
Sheet pan breakfast potatoes are a delicious and easy way to start your day. They are also a great way to use up leftover potatoes. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can have a hot and hearty breakfast that the whole family will enjoy. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy breakfast idea, give sheet pan breakfast potatoes a try. You won't be disappointed!
