SHRIMP SCAMPI PIZZA

I love a good garlicky pizza! I love that this has the sauce poured on top before baking. It really keeps the shrimp from drying out and enhances the garlic flavor.

Shrimp Scampi Pizza (California Pizza Kitchen) image

This is a fun way to eat shrimp scampi, from the The California Pizza Kitchen Cookbook. Prep time does not include time to make dough (a nice sturdy pizza dough is good for this - one that can hold up to being coated with a butter sauce without going limp and spilling the shrimp!)

  • Add plenty of cheese. Cheese is a must for any pizza, and shrimp scampi pizza is no exception. Use a combination of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese for the best results.
