Tips:

  • Choose the right Spam: Opt for Spam Classic or Spam Lite for this recipe. Spam Hot & Spicy can also be used, but it will add extra heat.
  • Prepare the Napa cabbage properly: Wash and slice the Napa cabbage thinly. This will help it cook evenly and absorb the flavors of the other ingredients.
  • Use a large skillet or wok: This will provide enough space for the Spam and cabbage to cook without overcrowding.
  • Cook the Spam and cabbage in batches: If your skillet or wok is not large enough to accommodate all of the Spam and cabbage at once, cook them in batches. This will prevent them from steaming instead of frying.
  • Add the sauce ingredients gradually: Start with a small amount of the sauce and add more to taste. This will help you avoid over-seasoning the dish.
  • Serve immediately: Spam and Napa cabbage is best served hot and fresh. It can be served over rice, noodles, or simply on its own.
