Tips:

  • Choose ripe, juicy strawberries: For the best flavor, use strawberries that are fully ripe and have a deep red color. Avoid berries that are bruised or have soft spots.
  • Make the dressing ahead of time: The cinnamon vinaigrette can be made up to 3 days in advance. This will allow the flavors to meld and develop.
  • Use a variety of greens: A mix of greens, such as spinach, arugula, and romaine lettuce, will add color and texture to the salad.
  • Add some crunch: Toasted nuts, such as almonds or pecans, will add a nice crunch to the salad. You could also add some crispy bacon or croutons.
  • Don't overdress the salad: A little bit of dressing goes a long way. Toss the salad gently to coat the leaves evenly.
  • Serve immediately: Strawberry salad is best enjoyed fresh. Once the berries are dressed, they will start to break down and lose their flavor.

Conclusion:

Strawberry salad with cinnamon vinaigrette is a refreshing and flavorful salad that is perfect for spring and summer. The combination of sweet strawberries, tangy vinaigrette, and crunchy nuts is sure to please everyone at your table. This salad is also a great way to use up any leftover strawberries you may have. So next time you have a bunch of ripe strawberries, give this salad a try!
