3 1/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/3 c butter softened
1 c granulated sugar
1 c brown sugar, lightly packed
2 eggs
4 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 pkg semi-sweet mini chocloate chips
1 c chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • 1. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Gradually beat in flour mixture on low speed until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips and Walnuts.
  • 2. DROP by rounded tablespoons on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven @ 375. 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheet 1 minute. Makes 5 dozen.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best flavor. Semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips work well.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies at a high temperature (375°F) for a short amount of time (10-12 minutes). This will give the cookies a crispy exterior and a chewy interior.
  • Let the cookies cool on a wire rack before enjoying them. This will help them set and prevent them from becoming too soft.

Conclusion:

These vanilla-rich chocolate chip cookies are the perfect treat for any occasion. They're easy to make, delicious, and sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're in the mood for something sweet, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
