BOUNTIFUL HOT FUDGE SUNDAE PIE
I've made this pie several times over the past twenty years and everyone always raves about it. It's especially good in the hot summer months after a BBQ or cookout. It's originally from an August 1981 issue of Bon Appetit magazine in a feature entitled "Cool Desserts". I've used both the Oreo crumbs in the box or the sleeve of chocolate wafer cookies by Nabisco and crush them in my processor

Tips:
- Fresh blackberries are always best, but frozen blackberries can also be used in this recipe.
- If you don't have a rolling pin, you can use a wine bottle or even a glass to roll out the pie crust.
- To make sure the pie crust is cooked evenly, rotate the pie plate halfway through baking.
- Let the pie cool completely before serving. This will help the filling to set and the crust to become flaky.
- For a more decadent sundae, top with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
