Steps:
- Cream butter and granulated sugar; beat in egg. In a seperate bowl combine flour, baking soda, cardamom, soda, and salt. Combine 1/4 cup coffee and milk. Add flour mixture and coffee mixture alternately to creamed mixture. Stri in nuts. Spread in greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Mix powdered sugar and additional coffee to make spreading consistency. Spread over warm cookies. Cool; cut into bars.
