Steps:
- Cream butter and 1 cup sugar for 5 minutes, until light and fluffy. Blend in molasses and egg With a wooden spoon, beat in dry ingredients (except for the 1/3 cup sugar) Chill for 1 hour Shape dough into 1" balls and roll in reserved sugar Place 2" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 8 - 10 minutes Let stand 1 minute before removing to cool.
