Glazed Peanut Butter Bars image

These taste just like reese's cups

Number Of Ingredients 15

3/4 c butter, softened
3/4 c creamy peanut butter
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c brown sugar
2 tsp water
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c all purpose flour
1 1/2 c quick cooking oats
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
GLAZE:
1 1/4 c milk chocolate chips
1/2 c butterscotch chips
1/2 c creamy peanut butter

Steps:

  • 1. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter, sugars and water.
  • 2. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • 3. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
  • 4. Spread into a greased 15"x10"x1" baking pan. Bake at 325* for 18-22 minutes or until lightly browned
  • 5. For Glaze: in a microwave safe bowl, melt chips and peanut butter; pour over warm bars and spread evenly. Cool completely on a wire rack before cutting
