Maple Bourbon Brine image

This brine is great for pork chops.

Number Of Ingredients 11

5 quart(s) water
3/4 cup(s) bourbon
1 1/2 cup(s) kosher salt
1 cup(s) pure maple syrup
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
1 small onion peeled and cut into quarters
- orange peel of (1 orange)
3 - bay leaves broken
2 tablespoon(s) mixed peppercorn
1 tablespoon(s) whole cloves
2 cup(s) ice

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients together, an bring to a slight boil, stir until everthing is dissloved let cool add ice.
