This has always been a holiday favorite but it is good anytime. It is a good cookie to put in holiday baskets.

- 1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets Bake 8 to 10 minutes Watch first batch closely, don't over bake. Makes 9 dozen
- 2. Sift flour, salt and soda, set aside.
- 3. In large bowl cream butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and cherry juice. Mix well. Add dry ingredient, small amounts at a time, mixing well. Stir in oats, cherries and pecans. Note: If mixture seems to stiff you can add a little more cherry juice.
- 4. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Watch first batch closely, don't over bake. Makes 9 dozen.
