Steps:
- 1. Rub the Oats through your hands until they become fine, and then measure.
- 2. Add flour, soda and brown sugar, mix well.
- 3. Cut in shortening until mixture is crumbly,then divide into 2 parts.
- 4. Pack half of it firmly on the bottom of greased 9x13 pan.Spread Mincemeat evenly on top.Add remaining mixture and pack firmly.Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes.
