NOODLE AND SHRIMP CASSEROLE image

4 lb large shrimp'cleaned and deveined
1 pkg 8oz.medium noodles
2 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 c sour cream
1 c green onions sliced tops included
1 1/4 c chopped bell pepper
1/2 tsp dried dill weed
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 tomato '/sliced
dill weed or parsley sprigs for garnish
or tomato slices

Steps:

  • 1. drop shrimp intoboiling salted water. reduce heat and simmer for 5 min.drain and rinse with cold water
  • 2. cook noodles as directed on package and drain.
  • 3. combine noodles with soup,sour cream, bell pepper ,onions ,dried dill weed,salt & pepper
  • 4. cut 1/4 of the shrimp into thirds and fold cut shrimp and cheese into noodles mixture
  • 5. spoon into a shallow baking dish. cover thightly with foil paper and bake at 350* for 20 min.
  • 6. remove foil and arrange remaining shrimp in rows on top of casserole.
  • 7. return to oven for 10 min.or until hot and bubbly garnish with dill weed or parsley sprigs or tomato slices
