This is a family comfort food. It tastes so good, but needs to be eaten in moderation as it is extremily rich. Serve with sausage or ham and corn. A variation on this dish uses any cream soup for a different flavour.

I followed the recipe exactly and my hash browns turned out perfectly. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I loved the flavor of the cheese and onions. I will definitely be making these again.

These hash browns were a bit too greasy for my taste. I think I would have liked them better if I had used less butter. Other than that, they were pretty good. The potatoes were cooked evenly and the cheese and onions were a nice addition.
