Steel Cut Oats Pancakes image

Usually I have to eat a bunch of pancakes to get full, but the steel cut oats provide great nourishment and so I only end up having to eat a few pancakes to get full.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 c flour
1/2 c steel cut oats
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 c milk
1/2 c water

Steps:

  • 1. Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl
  • 2. Combine the wet ingredients in a small bowl
  • 3. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
  • 4. Pour 1/4 cup batter onto a greased griddle and cook till golden brown on each side
  • 5. I enjoy eating these with either fresh cut up fruit or apple sauce
