Number Of Ingredients 8

2 c cooked turkey, cubed (can get deli turkey sliced thick and cube)
1 box long grain wild rice, cooked
1 c seedless grapes, halved
1/2 c sweet red pepper, diced
1/2 c celery, chopped
1/2 c dried cherries or craisins
1/2 c pecans, chopped
4 green onions, sliced

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients. Leave plain or drizzle with Raspberry-Poppyseed Dressing (I use Beverly's available at most grocery stores. I buy mine at Shop-n-Save.)
  • 2. Refrigerate any leftover salad. You may heat briefly in microwave before serving again.

The salad was a bit too bland for my taste. I would recommend adding some more herbs or spices.

The salad was a bit dry for my taste. I would recommend adding more dressing or some avocado slices.

I found the dressing to be a bit too sweet for my taste. I would recommend using less honey or adding some lemon juice to balance out the flavors.
