BANANA BREAD COBBLER image

Banana Bread:
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk or buttermilk
1/2 cup melted butter (can substitute applesauce)
4 medium rip bananas, sliced
Streusel Topping:
1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup uncooked regular oats
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Banana Bread: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Whisk together flour, sugar, and milk. Whisk in butter. Pour into a lightly greased 11x7 baking dish. Top with banana slices. Streusel Topping: Stir together sugar, flour, and butter until crumbly, using fork. Stir in oats and pecans. Sprinkle over banana bread. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
