1 teaspoon olive oil
6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2 pounds ground beef
4 slices pepper jack cheese
4 hamburger buns, split
4 lettuce leaves
1 large tomato, sliced
3/4 cup guacamole

Steps:

  • Brush jalapenos with oil. Grill, covered, over medium heat for 3-5 minutes or until tender, turning occasionally. When cool enough to handle, finely chop. 1 1/2 lb ground beef
2 - 3 jalapenos, chopped small
3 - 4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese
8 slice bacon, cooked
ranch dressing

Steps:

  • 1. Combine ground beef, jalapenos, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  • 2. Form into 4 patties, grill or cook in skillet until done.
  • 3. Fry bacon.
  • 4. Combine cream cheese and cheddar cheese in food processor until mixed well.
  • 5. When burgers are done spread ranch dressing on each side of bun, spread cream cheese mixture on top of hamburger patty and top with bacon. I served it with cheesy jalapeno hash browns and buttermilk chipotle onion rings.

6 oz cream cheese softened
5oz. can(s) diced green chilies
1 c shredded pepper jack cheese
2 lb 80/20 ground beef
1 egg
1 c salsa verde
8 bakery gourmet hamburger buns
1 large sweet onion, sliced
1 large tomato, sliced
1/4 bunch cilantro
sliced bottled jalapenos
1 bunch green leaf lettuce

Steps:

  • 1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, chilies, and shredded cheese. Mix on high speed until thoroughly combined. Set aside in freezer.
  • 2. In a large mixing bowl combine ground beef and 1 cup salsa verde and egg; lightly mix until combined. divide into 8 equal portions, divide each portion into two 1/4 in. thick patties. Place a generous tablespoon of chilled cream cheese mixture in the centers of half the patties, slightly spread cheese mixture leaving a border of meat around edge. Top with remaining patties; pinch to seal edges.
  • 3. Place burgers on grill at medium high heat; grill for 5 minutes then carefully flip patties. Cook an additional 2 minutes then spread remaining chili-cheese mixture on top of each burger (1 to 2 tablespoons)close the grill lid and cook until cheese is melted or bubbled (about 2-3 more minutes.)Also place buns on grill, cut side down and grill until just "toasty". Burgers are done when internal temp. reaches 158-160*F. Serve patties on bun, with onion, tomato,cilantro, desired amount of jalapenos and lettuce. Enjoy hot!
