Tips:

  • Use a variety of apples for a more complex flavor. Try a mix of tart and sweet apples, such as Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, and Pink Lady.
  • Peel and core the apples before slicing them. This will help to prevent the muffins from becoming too mushy.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the muffins tough.
  • Fill the muffin cups only about 2/3 full. This will allow the muffins to rise properly.
  • Bake the muffins at a high temperature for a short amount of time. This will help to create a crispy crust and a tender interior.
  • Let the muffins cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. This will help to prevent them from breaking apart.
  • Serve the muffins warm or at room temperature. They can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

These apple pie muffins are the perfect fall treat. They are easy to make and packed with flavor. The muffins are moist and tender with a crispy crust and a sweet and tangy filling. They are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
