  • Remove from oven and spread cherry jelly evenly over top. Serve warm or at room temperature.
  • Cook's note: Bread pudding can be baked 1 day ahead, chilled, and reheated in 350°F oven until heated through, about 20 minutes.

Tips:

  • Use day-old bread for a sturdier bread pudding. Fresh bread will absorb too much of the custard and become soggy.
  • If you don't have white chocolate chips, you can use semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips instead.
  • Use fresh or frozen cherries for the best flavor. If using frozen cherries, thaw them before using.
  • You can add other ingredients to the bread pudding, such as nuts, dried fruit, or spices.
  • Be sure to grease the baking dish well to prevent the bread pudding from sticking.
  • Cover the bread pudding with foil while baking to prevent the top from getting too brown.
  • Let the bread pudding cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. This will help it to firm up and make it easier to slice.

Conclusion:

White chocolate and cherry bread pudding is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its creamy custard, sweet white chocolate, and tart cherries, this bread pudding is sure to be a hit. So next time you're looking for a special dessert, give this recipe a try.
