Chewy Monkey Bars image

I love unbaked cookies. These are almost like candy.

Number Of Ingredients 10

3 c miniature marshmallows
1/2 c honey
1/3 c butter
1/4 c peanut butter
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
4 c rice crispy cereal
2 c quick cooking oats
1/2 c flaked coconut
1/2 c peanuts

Steps:

  • 1. Combine marshmallows, honey, butter, peanut butter, vanilla and salt together in a medium saucepan. Heat mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until all are melted and thoroughly combined.
  • 2. In a 13x9x2-inch baking pan, combine oats, rice cereal, coconut and peanuts. Pour honey mixture over dry ingredients. Mix until thoroughly coated. Pack mixture firmly into the pan.
  • 3. When cool, cut into 24 bars.
