Greek Cookies image

This is an adopted recipe and, although it looks like a nice beginning, needs some tweaking. I'll need to prepare them myself before I'd recommend them as written. (A while clove in each cookie? Ooof!)

These cookies are a bit too dry for my taste. I think I would add an extra egg yolk to the dough next time.

I had some trouble getting the cookies to hold their shape. They spread out a lot in the oven. I think I might have needed to chill the dough for longer before baking.

These cookies are a bit too sweet for my taste. I would reduce the amount of sugar next time.

I'm not usually a big fan of anise, but I really enjoyed these cookies. The anise flavor is subtle and well-balanced. The cookies are also very easy to make.

These cookies are a delicious and authentic taste of Greece. They have a wonderful balance of sweetness and spice, and the texture is perfect - crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I will definitely be making these again!
