I'm allergic to capers. Is there anything else I can use in the sauce?

This recipe is a bit too salty for my taste. I think I'll reduce the amount of salt in the caper sauce next time I make it.

I'm on a low-carb diet and I was wondering if I could make this recipe without the potatoes. Do you think it would still be good?

I'm a vegetarian and I love this recipe. I simply omit the bacon and the dish is still delicious. I also like to add some chopped fresh herbs, such as parsley or chives, to the caper sauce.

This dish is a great make-ahead meal. I often make it on the weekend and then reheat it for dinner during the week. It's also a great dish to take to potlucks or picnics.

I love this recipe because it's so versatile. I've made it with new potatoes, red potatoes, and even sweet potatoes. It always turns out great. The caper sauce is also a great way to add some extra flavor to grilled or roasted vegetables.
