Vinegar Pie image

My grandmother always made 2 Vinegar Pies for my dad on his birthday and of course we got a piece. Love the pie.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2 c sugar
4 eggs
1/4 c butter, melted or real soft
1 1/2 Tbsp cider or white vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell

Steps:

  • 1. In large bowl, combine sugar, eggs & vinegar. Mix well. Add vinegar and vanilla and mix for about 2 mins. on medium speed. (This will not fill a deep pie dish, you will need to double the ingredients for Deep Dish Pie.)
  • 2. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 mins. or until the pie's ingredients do not move. It will jiggle.
  • 3. Yeilds: 8 servings. Nutritional Facts: 1 serving (1 piece) equals 354 calories, 15 g fat (7 g saturated fat), 127 mg cholesterol, 190 mg sodium, 51 g carbohydrate, 0 fiber, 4 g protein.
  • 4. Refigerate once cooled. or any left over pie.
