6 fresh basil leaves, cut into ribbons

Steps:

  • Lightly mix together the blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries in a large bowl. Portion the berries into 6 small dessert bowls or glasses. Add a shot of limoncello to each. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 4 hours to allow the berries to macerate in the liquid.

5 cups crushed strawberries (about 3 pounds)
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice
6 tablespoons powdered fruit pectin
7 cups sugar
1/2 cup limoncello
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
10 half-pint jars

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven, combine strawberries, water and lemon juice. Stir in pectin. Bring to a full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Stir in sugar; return to a full rolling boil. Boil and stir 1 minute. Immediately stir in limoncello and zest., Remove from heat; skim off foam. Ladle hot mixture into 10 hot half-pint jars, leaving 1/4-in. headspace. Remove air bubbles and adjust headspace, if necessary, by adding hot mixture. Wipe rims. Center lids on jars; screw on bands until fingertip tight., Place jars in a canner with simmering water, ensuring that they are completely covered with water. Bring to a boil; process for 10 minutes. 1 ⅓ cups Prosecco (Italian sparkling white wine)
1 cup limoncello liqueur
1 (12 fluid ounce) can club soda, or as needed
¼ cup coarse sugar, or as needed
1 lemon slice
4 lemon slices, for garnish
fresh mint leaves for garnish

Steps:

  • Chill Prosecco, limoncello, and soda water. Place glasses in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before using.
  • Pour sugar onto a small plate or saucer and spread out. Run lemon slice around the edge of each glass. Turn a glass upside down and place into the sugar, coating just the rim of each glass.
  • Fill each glass about 1/2 full with ice.
