Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 c milk
2 stick margarine or butter,softened
1 tsp vanilla
3 large eggs
1 1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c bisquick baking mix
2 medium bananas, sliced
1 c chilled whipping cream
2 Tbsp powdered sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350^. Grease a 9-inch pie plate. Beat milk, margarine, vanilla, eggs, sugar and baking mix until smooth, 30 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater. Pour into buttered plate. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Cool completely. Arrange banana slices on pie. Beat whipping cream and powdered sugar in chilled bowl until stiff; spread on top. Thawed whipped topping can be used instead, if desired.

Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas for a sweeter, creamier pie. Overripe bananas are ideal, as they're naturally sweeter and have a more intense banana flavor.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough, dense crust.
  • Chill the pie crust before baking. This will help to prevent the crust from shrinking and cracking.
  • Bake the pie until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set. The filling should be firm to the touch and no longer jiggly.
  • Let the pie cool completely before serving. This will allow the filling to set properly.

Conclusion:

Overall, impossible banana cream pie is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that's perfect for any occasion. With its creamy, banana-flavored filling and flaky crust, this pie is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give this recipe a try!
